How We Think About AI Safety and Governance
Powerful systems demand serious responsibility. A look at the principles and concrete controls behind everything we ship.
As AI systems take on more consequential work, the bar for safety and governance rises with them. At Zunbur, safety isn't a compliance checkbox — it's an engineering discipline woven through the platform.
Defense in depth
We assume any single control can fail, so we layer them. PII detection and redaction, prompt-injection defense, output validation, rate limiting, and policy enforcement each operate independently. Compromise one and the others still hold.
Humans stay in control
For high-impact actions, an agent proposes and a human disposes. Approval workflows, granular permissions, and immutable audit trails ensure there's always accountability and a clear record of who authorized what.
Privacy by default
We never train on customer data. Enterprise customers can deploy privately, choose their data residency, and even run air-gapped. Your data belongs to you, full stop.
Trust is earned through transparency and rigor. We publish our controls, invite scrutiny, and hold ourselves to the standards our customers' boards demand.
